About This Course

This course will cover all the basics and critically important concepts of Tech Lead as per the KPIT process. You’ll go over

• Electric Vehicle Introduction: This module provide a comprehensive overview of electric vehicles, including their history, benefits, challenges, and the evolving landscape of the electric vehicle industry.
• Electrical Vehicle Charging System: The charging system module explain the different types of electric vehicle charging, charging station infrastructure, and interoperability standards.
• Battery Management: Participants learn about the management and maintenance of vehicle batteries. Topics included are charging protocols, monitoring systems, and safety practices.
• E-drive: The E-drive module emphasis on electric propulsion system of the vehicle. Participants gain insights into motor controllers, regenerative braking, and optimizing energy efficiency.
• Electrical Vehicle Safety: Safety aspects specific to electric vehicles were discussed here. This module covers Introduction of EV safety, Safety Regulation (ICE 61511), Circle of Safety Hazards, Risks of working with E&HVs.
• Body Harness: This segment cover the intricate wiring network within the vehicle, including connections to various systems. Proper handling, routing, and securing of the body harness are also emphasized.
• Driver Cab Electrical Equipment: This segment focuses on the electrical systems within the driver's cab. It covers topics such as dashboard controls, communication tools, and integration with other vehicle systems.
• Passenger Communication: Participants learn on the electrical systems responsible for passenger communication and information dissemination. Topics include intercoms, displays, and announcements.
• Farebox Ticket Equipment: Participants gain insights into the electrical components associated with fare collection and ticketing systems.
• CCTV CAD/Arrangement Drawing: This module cover the electrical components and systems related to the CCTV systems through CAD drawings and arrangement plans, focusing on camera placement and wiring.
• Interior Lighting: The interior lighting module design and function of lighting systems within the vehicle are explained in detail. It encompassed both aesthetic and functional aspects.
• Aircon Electrical Equipment: This module emphasis the electrical components and systems related to the Air conditioning & Heat Pumps unit in the vehicles. It includes discussions on Electrical considerations, control circuits & inverter technology.
• Electrical Schematic/Foamboard Drawing: This module explains about understanding of reading and interpreting Zukin E3 electrical schematics and foamboard drawings.
